Now just one god damn fucking minute

Is it me, or has the F.A. gone absolutely, totally and utterly around the bend? Are we about to witness the biggest change to the English Football Leagues since the introduction of 3 points for a win, or will the latest idea have an even bigger impact on the game - and not for the better?

We all know (hopefully) that in the English football league(s) it's 3 points for a win (used to be 2 many many years ago) 1 point for a draw and bog all for a loss. The latest idea means that a drawn game will be decided with penalties as if it were a cup match in the knockout stages, only both teams get a point and the winner of the penalty shootout grabs an extra one.

This to me, just isn't right. Whats to stop a club doing nothing but defending to try and grab the extra point from penalties? What if a team deserved to win the way they played but got the draw, and dont even get the extra point after the penalties? Even the change from 2 points to 3 for a win didn't affect the game the way this would. And I for one will be especially pissed off if the league managers agree to the trials for next season in the championship, leagues 1 and 2 (and possibly the conference, im not sure).

The game works the way it is - leave it alone.

In fact lets remove a few other rules from the last few years and get back to real football, let the players celebrate emphatically, or rip off their shirt without getting booked, let them show some emotion without being booked and even run over to celebrate with their fans and followers.

Stop changing the off side rule from season to season, some very patient men have been driven to madness once they finally explain it to the missus with the aid of salt, pepper, vineger and ketchup it gets changed and they have to start all over again - maybe even train some new linesmen, ones without white sticks and guide dogs.

It's a wonderful, beautiful, English game, dont try and change it or make it american / european. The game is not broken, so please dont try and fix it.

**Change of layout coming - hit me with ideas, cos I have none ;o)

You has been infected I repeat You has been infected and your system files has been deletes. Sorry. Have a Nice Day and bye bye.
